Sat Jan 14, 2012 12:05 am netspend visa card
This is the first time this has ever happened to me. the other day i tried making a deposit at bet phoenix it was declined. than 3 days later a charge came up on my netspend visa card. i tried to dispute the charge while it was pending and i couldn't. they said i have to wait until it goes to transactions bull*hit i think.they couldn't even tell me the merchant name all it said was SECURE ECOMMERCE CN . i did a search and nothing for that name came up, just other stuff. I called bet phoenix and they said it was not them. I have no idea how they got a hold of my card number but it pisses me off that i could not do anything to stop that transaction from taking place.I did file a dispute today but that will take from 30 to 90 days. I only use my netspend card for making deposits at casinos and getting my money off of paypal so not alot of activity on it but am just mad that visa netspend can't protect my money. so be careful if you have a netspend visa card. _________________

Shirls I had that happen 1 time with iNetBet ... my account at net spend showed 2 transactions where it should of been only 1, I started to dispute it and netspend started asking questions about who was iNetBet? It better not be gambling related etc etc so I contacted iNetBet and they only received 1 payment so I wrote it off. (this was when the USA first started all this and we and the casinos were trying different deposit methods to see what would work)
Now when you make a deposit to a casino they have came up with some strange names ... but for the most part, it seems to work to get by the cc processor. yayy
Have you tried sending a copy of the transaction or a copy of your record at Netspend to Bet Phoenix to check their records? couldn't hurt.
I haven't used my Netspend card for quite a while now. The majority of casinos now accept my Paypal debit mastercard which is awesome and those that don't I deposit to MyPaylinQ account via my VISA at my bank.
MyPaylinQ charges are about $7/$8 per $100 which is about the same charge it is for netspend when you consider you have to pay a fee to send the $$ to netspend and then then Netspend charges $1 per transaction.
Since I started using MyPaylinQ I have noticed more casinos now accepting that method.
Shirls I wish I could help ... actually I really wish our government would put a stop to this hassle they are putting us through and let us be adults again!!! grrrrrr
Please let me know what you find out hun and Good Luck!!!

Shirls, I have had that happen before with my Bank & with Netspend- The bank told me (as did Netspend, and my moms bank did same to her) that when a Transaction is Pending, they cannot make a claim because there are lots of times when Pending, falls off before it becomes Complete.
Examples are:
Rent a Car- They put a Hold (Pending) for say $500- until car is returned, then they minus deductions, if any- the $500 is returned to Bank, and a new amount goes Pending.
Rent a Hotel- They did a Pending $50 Hold that was on ours for a week before it was back.
I don't play at InetBet (cannot because of roommate making 2nd account in 2007) but I hope it gets cleared for you soon. _________________
